Wildsplice: Creature Defense is a browser tower defense game where you create new defenders by crossbreeding animals.

Every creature consists of five inheritable body parts: head, body, legs, tail, and back. Between waves, choose a base animal, a donor, and the body part your new hybrid will inherit. Its anatomy determines its attacks, abilities, and the battlefield positions it can use.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Place animals near the enemy path.

2. Start the wave and protect the nest.

3. Visit the Workshop between waves.

4. Crossbreed two animals and inherit a body part from the donor.

5. Build a team capable of using each location's special positions.

A frog's swimming legs can allow a hybrid to defend from water. Wings can unlock aerial or tree positions. Compact bodies can enter burrows. Every inherited part can change your strategy.

Version 0.40.0 includes the complete five-location campaign. Progress is stored locally in your browser.
